Leeteuk and Heechul of Super Junior have teamed up to form a new unit, Super Junior-83z, to celebrate their enduring friendship. Organised by SM True, the duo will hold the "2026 Super Junior-83z Fancon Tour [1983] In Bangkok" on Aug 15 at Thunder Dome.
The 83 in Super Junior-83z represents the duo's birth year, 1983. Born in the same year, Leeteuk and Heechul share a special bond and a close friendship which give them natural chemistry.
The duo have played significant roles in Super Junior's success throughout more than two decades in the entertainment industry.
As the leader and a central figure in driving the group forward, Leeteuk has earned recognition for his leadership, warm personality, and exceptional communication skills, going on to become a television host and MC for numerous major events.
Meanwhile, Heechul has captivated audiences with his distinctive charm, quick wit, and versatility as both a singer and host, earning recognition as one of the most influential and popular figures in the Korean entertainment industry.
The show serves as a space that brings together the precious moments the duo has created throughout their journey. Through performances that reflect their individuality, multifaceted talents, and one-of-a-kind personalities, fans will have the opportunity to experience another side of the two artists up close.
Their tour will visit fans across nine cities in Asia -- Seoul, Tokyo, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Macau, Kaohsiung, Singapore and Taipei.
In particular, the opening shows in Seoul, South Korea, received an overwhelming response, with tickets for both performances on July 25–26 selling out rapidly, leading to the addition of an extra show on July 24. This clearly reflects the strong anticipation and excitement surrounding the debut of Super Junior-83z.
