Yields reached nearly 6.8 tons per hectare.
The Institute of Agricultural and Forestry Science and Technology Development has completed the provincial-level science and technology project "Research and development of the new high-yield, high-quality rice variety DT120 in Thai Nguyen", with the goal of establishing a model of the new DT120 rice variety with a yield of 65-70 quintals/hectare in Thai Nguyen province.
The project has contributed to transforming the crop structure, increasing productivity, quality, and economic efficiency, bringing sustainable benefits to farmers.
This is one of the ways to apply scientific and technological advancements to agriculture, contributing to the diversification of crop varieties and meeting production requirements suitable to local ecological conditions.
